DeaDBeeF
DeaDBeeF is a free, resource-efficient audio player for GNU / Linux , * BSD , OpenSolaris , Mac OS X . With DeaDBeeF For Android a variant is available for Android . The name is an allusion to 0xDEADBEEF in Hexspeak .
Functions
For handling different audio formats DeaDBeeF accesses specially ported - or existing in the system Codec - libraries back, including FFmpeg , libsndfile , dumb, and Game_Music_Emu AdPlug. A multimedia framework is not used in favor of speed, as is a database function in which the music collection could be managed.
