Deacon Hill is a striking, ice-capped peak on Coronation Island , one of the Southern Orkney Islands . The 330  m high peak lies between Bridger Bay and Norway Bight in the west of the island.

Deacon Hill was first sighted in 1821 by Captain Nathaniel Palmer and Captain George Powell (1794-1824) on their journey together. Its approximate location was recorded on Powell's map published in 1822. In 1933 Deacon Hill was re-mapped by the crew of Discovery II , who named him after George Edward Raven Deacon (1906-1984), a member of the Discovery Committee's hydrological staff.
