Dead Serious is the album of the punk rock band Itchy Poopzkid , released on January 23, 2009 .

History of origin

Dead Serious is recorded in 2008. Like its predecessor Time to Ignite , the album will be produced by Achim Lindmeir in the Schaltraum Studio in Erbach.

For the first time, the band devoted more than five months exclusively to songwriting, which they themselves described as a completely new experience.

Otherwise not much has changed compared to Time to Ignite . The sound still has parallels to other punk rock bands such as B. Donots , Millencolin or Blink-182 recognize. It is noteworthy, however, that the band not only plays the usual instruments, but also features an accordion or a shopping cart that was used for percussion purposes.

One week after its release, the album entered the German album charts at number 39.

The first single is called The Living .
