The Heilsbach rises in the Derletal, a valley cut southwest of the old town center of Duisdorf . It first flows through a park-like recreational area, where it feeds some ponds . After crossing under the Konrad-Adenauer-Damm, the brook runs a few meters in a paved open bed. Upon reaching the local area of Duisdorf, the Heilsbach is led underground to its confluence with the Alter Bach in Lessenich . The Dichbach is a tributary of the Salvation Brook .
