Lights Out London is the fourth studio album by the German punk rock band Itchy Poopzkid . It was released in Germany on February 25, 2011 under the self-founded label Findaway Records . It is the last studio album with Tobias Danne on the drums, who after the recordings vacated the drums in favor of Max Zimmer - who had previously been the band's lighting technician for years.

Emergence

The album was recorded in late 2010 and early 2011. In October 2010 the band released the first single "Why Still Bother", a song that was written for the WDCS (Whale and Dolphins Conservation Society) and is intended to draw attention to the issues of this organization. This is also evident in the music video the band produced for this single.

criticism

"Itchy Poopzkid's current studio album is certainly not a groundbreaking original, but consistently highly entertaining piece of music, which impresses above all with its high hit rate in terms of songwriting."

- Lutz Koroleski : musikreviews.de

“With their fourth album, Itchy Poopzkid offer 70% impact, 25% Bravo suitability and 5% lack of imagination. [...] A disc that will not silence all critics, but definitely leaves a fresh and authentic overall impression and shows a band that doesn't need much to climb the punk rock Olympus they are striving for in the foreseeable future.
