Ports & Chords is the fifth studio album by the German punk rock band Itchy Poopzkid . It was released in Germany on January 25, 2013 under the self-founded label Findaway Records . It entered the German charts at number 27. It is the band's first album to feature Max Zimmer on drums.
Emergence
The album was recorded in the summer of 2012. The first single was the song We Say So . For the song With Heads Held High , fans could sing in the chorus and then send it to the studio. Over 1,000 voices can be heard in the last chorus and their names are printed in the booklet. Drummer Max Zimmer took care of the submissions. Itchy Poopzkid brought in Guido Knollmann from the Donots to reinforce The Pirate Song and Sibbi sings a duet with Charlotte Cooper from The Subways for She Said .
