from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Decimus Terentius Gentianus (* approx. 89/90) was a Roman politician and senator in the 2nd century AD.

Gentianus probably came from the Narbonensis and was the son of Decimus Terentius Scaurianus . In 116 Gentianus became a suffect consul . From 117 to 119 Gentianus was then proconsul of the province of Macedonia . His title is given as censor and cens (itor) , but he may also have been governor of the province. Gentian fell out of favor under Emperor Hadrian .
