Deepest Blue

Deepest Blue is an electro-pop music group consisting of Israeli Matt Schwartz and English singer Joel Edwards .

Matt has worked as a producer for artists such as Arthur Baker , Mica Paris , JTQ and Massive Attack .

Joel Edwards, Deepest Blue's front man, is the singer and songwriter. He has been involved in productions for artists such as Ed Case ( Gorillaz ) Planet Funk , Chicane , M Factor , Skin ( Skunk Anansie ) and The UnderWolves .

The first single was released in the summer of 2003 under the name Deepest Blue . The single reached 7th place in the UK charts. The title was also used in 2007 for the score for the German movie "Keinohrhasen".

Her second single Give it away reached number 9 in the UK charts in spring 2004 and number 2 in the airplay charts. With their third single Is it a Sin? They reached the Top 30 in May 2004. Their debut album from the end of September 2004 reached number 22 in the UK National Charts.

Her fourth single Shooting Star , which was released in August 2004, only made it to number 57 in the charts, and that for only one week. It is their first single that has not yet made it into the UK Top 40.

The song Shooting Star was heard as background music for Sky Sports News between 2004 and 2007.
