Deikerode

Deikerode , also called Teicherode , is a deserted area near Großleinungen in the district of Mansfeld-Südharz in Saxony-Anhalt , Germany . The settlement, which used to have probably only a few farmsteads, was located approx. 750 m southeast of the town center by Großleinungen, bounded by the Lengefelder Graben in the north, the Sangerhäuser Weg in the south, a water crack in the east and a small trickle in the west.

history

It is hardly known when Deikerode was founded. According to Neuss, the 10./11. Century or the 12th / 13th Century. The Naundorf monastery is probably related to the foundation of the village. Most of the documented mentions of Deikerode come from a time when the village had already fallen into desolation.

In 1525 an allegedly desolate Deikerode is mentioned in the interest book of the Großleinunger Zoberbruderschaft. In 1529, Count Gebhard von Mansfeld enfeoffed a Herdan hoe with, among other things, six hooves of land at Deikenrode . Later, in 1534, a long deserted half-hoof land on the Teckerödern in front of the moss chamber is mentioned in a document, which pays the castle bridges . Around 1570 a pond clearing is mentioned, which is parish after Großleinungen. In 1601, a municipality in Teuchroda then gave six groschen fire tax after the town fire in Eisleben , as mentioned in the Eisleber Chronicle.
