from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Delta Kappa Epsilon (ΔΚΕ; also pronounced DKE or “Dik”, members are also called “Dekes”) is a “secret” student association for young male students in the USA.

The fraternity was founded on June 22, 1844 at Yale University by 15 students because they were partially not accepted into the existing student associations (e.g. Alpha Delta Phi , Alpha Phi Omega and Psi Upsilon ( Dartmouth College Greek organizations )).

Three years after its inception, chapters were formed in Bowdoin , Princeton , Colby, and Amherst College . Today Delta Kappa Epsilon has 64 branches and over 85,000 members and alumni across the United States.
