Colby College is an American university, a College of Liberal Arts , in Waterville ( Maine ), USA , with currently around 1,800 students. It was founded in 1813 . It is considered one of the " Little Ivies ."

In 1813 the college was first founded by the Baptist clergy.

Colby abolished fraternities in the late 1984s .
