Delta Music Park

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Delta Musik Park was a large discotheque in Duisburg - Hamborn near the Duisburg-Nord motorway junction . The property, made up of three connected circus tents, was one of the largest discos in Germany with a total of 17 bars.

The Delta was opened in 1996 as a posh disco with a strict dress code . In the course of time, the areas were constantly expanded and rebuilt, many artists, including DJ Ötzi , Detlef D! Soost , DJ Antoine , Tyga or David Guetta performed here. The seven areas served different tastes, from rock to Schlager, dance or R 'n' B. Due to the declining number of visitors, the last party was scheduled for May 31, 2014.

From September 2014 parties were held again, albeit with a smaller room concept.

The Delta was closed in March 2015 and the new Tentorium disco was set up in its place . This closed again in October 2016.

After two fires and a storm, the remains of the discotheque were torn down in mid-2018.
