Wassjurinskaja ( Russian Васюринская ) is a Staniza in the Krasnodar region in Russia with 13,339 inhabitants (14 October 2010).
geography
The place is in the foothills of the Caucasus almost 40 km as the crow flies east-northeast of the regional administrative center Krasnodar on the high right bank of the Kuban , on the middle, now silted up part of the Krasnodar reservoir opposite the confluence of the Belaya . The Kuban marks the border with the Adygea Republic .
Vasyurinskaya belongs to the Dinskoi Rajon and is located about 20 km southeast of its administrative center Dinskaya . Stanitsa is the seat of the rural community Wassjurinskoje selskoje posselenije, which also includes the settlements (possjolok) at the train stations Redutski (7 km northeast of the town center) and Vasyurinskaya (2 km west) and Possjolok Severo-Kawkasskoi Sonalnoi Opytnoi Stanzii WNIIL (2 km north-east of the town center). "Settlement of the North Caucasian Zonal Experimental Station of the WNIILR"; the WNIILR, today WILAR, is a research institute for medicinal plants founded in 1931 and based in Moscow ).
history
Wassjurinskaja is one of the first 40 stanizi founded in 1794 as a spa settlement in the Kuban area ; The place received this status in 1842. Its name refers to the Zaporozhian Cossack Ivan Vasyurin. It is the stanitsa furthest up the Cuban, founded by the Black Sea Cossacks (known as the Kuban Cossacks since 1860 ); further east are foundations of the Don Cossacks .

To the west of the village is the Kawkasskaya ( Kropotkin ) - Krasnodar railway line, which opened in 1901 and has been electrified since 1999 (from Wassjurinskaja as early as 1990) , at kilometer 103 .
North of the Stanitsa the regional road 03K-002 (formerly R251) passes Temryuk - Krasnodar - Kropotkin - border to the Stavropol region (from there towards Stavropol ). At Wassjurinskaja, the 03N-191 branches off from this via the Dinskaya district center to the federal highway M4 Moscow - Novorossiysk, which runs further west .
