Nowominskaja ( Russian Новоминская ) is a Staniza in the Krasnodar region in Russia with 11,971 inhabitants (October 14, 2010).
geography
The place is a good 140 km as the crow flies north of the regional administrative center of Krasnodar on the Albaschi , a tributary of the Azov Sea .
Nowominskaja belongs to Rajon Kanewskoi and is located approximately 25 kilometers north of the administrative center Kanevskaya . Stanitsa is the seat of the rural community Novominskoje selskoje posselenije, which also includes the hamlets (chutor) Krasny Otschag (10 km west-north-west), Tschapajew (immediately north-east) and Vostochny (7 km west-north-west).
history
The place was founded in 1821 by resettlers from the Chernigov and Poltava Governments who were incorporated into the Black Sea Cossacks . The Kurinsiedlung received after riverside location the name Werchnealbasskoje ( "upper-Albasskoje") by awarding the status of a Staniza 1842 its present name ( "New-Minsk"), after the 25 km northern Staniza Minsk, which has since than Starominskaya ("Old Minskaya") is called.
From 1934 to 1953 Novominskaya was the administrative seat of a raion named after her.

On the northwestern edge of the stanitsa located at kilometer 1,473 (from Moscow ), the station Alba ski on the railway ( Rostov-on-Don -) Bataisk - Krasnodar, which went into operation on this section originally in 1915, 1964 partially neutra Siert expanded to the main track and 1,972 electrified was.
