Platnirovskaya belongs to the Korenovsky Rajon and is located about 10 km southwest of the administrative center of Korenovsk . The Stanitsa is the seat of the rural community Platnirowskoje selskoje posselenije, which also includes the hamlets (chutor) Kasatschi (in fact immediately to the east) and Levchenko (10 km to the west).
history
The place was founded in 1794 as one of the first 40 Cossack spa settlements in the Kuban area under the name Platnirowskoje, from the award of the status of Stanitsa in 1842 under the current name. After the conversion of the hamlet (chutor) Tschelbasski, founded about 80 km north in 1881, into the Stanitsa Novoplatnirowskaya ("New Platnirowskaya") in 1909, Platnirowskaya was also referred to as Staroplatnirowskaya ("Old Platnirowskaya"); However, unlike many other stanizi with a similar development, this designation never became official. Platnirovskaya belonged from 1868 to the establishment of the Rajons in 1924 to the department (otdel) Kawkasskaja of the Oblast Kuban .
