Demigod was a death metal band from Loimaa , Finland .

history

The band released their debut album Slumber of Sullen Eyes on the small Spanish label Drowned Productions. After the label stopped working, the band was back without a contract. More demos were recorded before the band split up for a short time.

After a while the members came together again for rehearsals and worked on new material. In 1998 they decided to revive the band. Despite some difficulties with the line-up , a contract was signed with Spikefarm Records in 2001 and in 2002 the second album Shadow Mechanics was released 10 years after the first. At the beginning of 2006, the band and label separated from each other, but Demigod were still working on the third album. This was finally released in 2007 under the title Let Chaos Prevail via Xtreem Music .

In November 2008 the band broke up again.
