Temple tombs in Demircili

Demircili (formerly Dösene ) was a village in the district of Silifke in the Turkish province of Mersin .

Demircili is located in the southeast of the district, about six kilometers north of Silifke and 65 kilometers southwest of the provincial capital Mersin . The distance to the Mediterranean Sea is about 12 kilometers. The place is on the highway from Silifke to İmamlı and Uzuncaburç . Since a regional reform in 2014, the place is no longer a village, but a district of the district town of Silifke.

In Demircili there are some ruins of the ancient place Imbriogon , including several well-preserved house and temple tombs.
