Demna Schengelaia

Demna Schengelaia ( Georgian დემნა შენგელაია ; * 1896 in Satschilao , Samtredia district , † 1980 in Tbilisi ) was a Georgian writer.

Life

He was born the son of a railway employee. From 1920 he studied Georgian history, linguistics and folklore at the State University of Tbilisi and geology at the Tbilisi Polytechnic Institute. This was followed by a job for magazines and newspapers as well as for the Georgian Writers' Union.
