The Demon Music Group ( DMG ) is an independent British label and company in the music industry, which has specialized in the creation, production and marketing of sound carriers as well as the marketing of music rights.

history

The Demon Music Group, founded in London in 1982 , originally goes back to the British independent label Demon Records founded by Jake Riviera , Elvis Costello and Adrew Lauder in 1980, which in turn was taken over by Crimson Productions in 1998.

Sub-labels

The Demon Music Group unites several labels and their sub-labels under one roof. These cover the various music divisions that the company offers in a variety of ways.

  • 100 Hits publishes compilations - usually in a box set of five CDs - that deal on the one hand with various musical genres, such as pop , soul , rock and reggae , and on the other hand with compilations that are dedicated to a time-limited section of music history and shed light on it.
