Denis Ignatov

Denis Ignatov (born February 17, 1988 in Leningrad , Soviet Union ) is a German-Russian photographer and director.

biography

Ignatov grew up as a child in Saint Petersburg . In 1996 he came to Germany. After assisting the photographer Dieter Eikelpoth , he started his own business in 2010 in order to devote himself to portrait, sports, advertising and reportage photography and videography.

In addition to campaigns for various companies, he also photographed the athlete Wladimir Klitschko , Federal Chancellor Gerhard Schröder , celebrities such as Wiz Khalifa , Ty Dolla Sign , Linkin Park and many more.

Ignatov was awarded several gold records for designing the covers of the musicians Farid Bang , Kollegah and KC Rebell . He was also one of the last photographers to portray Chester Bennington a few weeks before his death for GQ Germany.

Since 2012, several excerpts of his work have been published by NBVD Verlag under the title “Germany's best photographers”.
