Denis Vallan

Denis Vallan (born October 10, 1965 in Olten , Canton Solothurn , Switzerland ) is a Swiss herpetologist . His research focus is the frog fauna of Madagascar , especially its ecology and taxonomy .

Life

After obtaining the Matura in Olten in 1986 graduated from Vallan a biology degree at the University of Bern , which he in 1992 with the Licentiate completed "On the influence of hikers on the field of use of young leading Gemsgeissen". Anodonthyla vallani was named in honor of Denis Vallan.
