Food for thought

Food for thought is a series of publications that has been published by the Rhineland-Palatinate Nature and Environment Foundation since the beginning of 2004 .

The series of publications by the foundation based in Mainz , Rhineland-Palatinate , aims to stimulate opinion-forming in nature and environmental protection and to depict polarizing opinions. According to the title, " food for thought " should be conveyed. Each issue is dedicated to a current topic from the field of nature and environmental protection, mostly based on previous specialist conferences or lecture series. Both experts from science and people from politics and practice work as authors . The series is not only aimed at the specialist audience, but also at non-specialist readers.

The series of publications appears at irregular intervals with an edition of 1000 copies each. Seven issues have appeared so far.
