The monument to Otto von Freising is a stone sculpture on the Domberg of Freising (Upper Bavaria). It commemorates the 22nd Bishop of Freising (1138–1158), who is considered one of the most important historians of the Middle Ages .

The memorial is an early work by the German sculptor Caspar von Zumbusch . It was unveiled on November 19, 1857 in the middle of the cathedral courtyard in front of Freising Cathedral on the site of the Mohrenbrunnen , which was demolished in 1803 .

It shows Otto in a life-size representation with the attributes that characterize him: standing in a chasuble with miter , the bishop's staff tucked under his left arm, in the left hand the Holy Scriptures , in the right a quill that indicates his writing activity. The sculpture stands on a stone base. On the front of it the inscription: OTTO VON FREISING BISHOP AND HISTORICIST .
