The monument French German-to the fallen in war is an architectural monument , located in the village street in the district Stolzenhain at the Röder the community Röderland in southern Brandenburg Elbe-Elster is located. It is recorded in the local monument register under registration number 09135705.

The war memorial is intended to commemorate the fallen villagers of the Franco-German War (1870/71) . It was built in 1879. It shows the Greek goddess of victory, Nike, standing on a stepped base .

Its location is to be found together with two other memorials to the fallen to the south of the local village church , each of which is supposed to commemorate the fallen villagers of the First and Second World Wars .

Wilhelm Franz Naumburger
Füselier of the 4th Thuringian Infantry Regiment No. 72

Seriously wounded near Chantraine on August 18th.
Killed at the wounds in Vernville

Wilhelm Schumann
