Denko (* probably born 1996 in Zurich ), also known as Lightsking or Denko 92, is a Swiss rapper , dancehall artist and MC . Since 2017 he has been releasing music on his label Z92 Kartell, to which Mássimon and Big Bane are also under contract.

Life

Not much is known about Lightsking's life, except that he has Jamaican roots and probably lives in the Zurich agglomeration. According to his own statements, he often stays in district 92, which is a slang expression for Glattfelden . The 92 from Z92 refers to the postal code 8192 of Glattfelden. As can be seen from his texts, he probably hates the police and other Swiss authorities very much . Why this is so cannot yet be inferred from his music.

What is also noticeable is his weakness for extraordinary jewelry, such as rings, expensive brand watches, gold chains and luxurious cars.

Beginnings

Lightsking recorded the first tracks as a young boy. But these were never really published, but rather sent to the people as a Bluetooth file .

Career

As a teenager, he teamed up with Mássimon and worked on beats and lyrics until they decided to release their first single in 2017 . Video clips from Ununzero soon followed , and further tracks were recorded and made available to listeners on all common portals. Her publications are very well received in the Zurich hip-hop scene. Meanwhile, the media are also reporting on Lightsking and the Z92 cartel that surrounds him. The first EP called Z92 Sampler followed on February 9, 2018. Since then Lightsking has been publishing new video clips with his rap company on his YouTube channel called Z92.
