Dennis Lotter (born July 13, 1981 in Tübingen ) is a German economist . Since 2015 he has been Professor and Dean of Studies for Sustainable Marketing & Leadership at the Fresenius University of Applied Sciences in Idstein .

Life

After graduating from the Helmholtz-Gymnasium Karlsruhe and working in the media industry, he studied business administration at the University of Heidelberg . During his part-time doctorate on “Responsible Management in Family Businesses” at Comenius University , he founded a consulting company and was a. a. working for Villeroy & Boch AG . In addition to his work as professor and dean of studies at the Fresenius University of Applied Sciences, he heads the Institute for Sustainable Leadership & Change.

Teaching, research and adult education

Dennis Lotter taught in various bachelor and master programs at the universities of Heidelberg, Offenburg and Graz.

Dennis Lotter has contributed to the development of several certificate courses and advanced training for well-known educational institutions and runs an academy for advanced training.

His training and research focus is particularly on the topics of agile leadership, agile business development , innovation and sustainable management. To this end, he carried out various research projects with practice partners. His specialist book "Der CSR-Manager" is part of the standard work of corporate social responsibility literature in German-speaking countries and has inspired, motivated and supported many specialists and managers in setting up CSR management. In addition to his publications, he acts as a speaker and moderator at conferences and meetings. In addition, he is interviewed as an expert on TV, radio and print media at home and abroad.
