Dennis Steinhauer (born May 7, 1991 in Villingen-Schwenningen ) is a German ice hockey defender who is currently under contract with the Kölner Haien in the German ice hockey league .

Career

Steinhauer has been part of the Kölner Haie junior team since 2006, with whom he has played in the German junior league since then . There the left-shooter is one of the team's best defenders , as he has scored 36 scorer points in 81 games so far.

During the 2008/09 season , the left shooter was nominated several times for the professional squad by the Kölner Haie coaching staff and was used a total of twelve times in the top German league, the German Ice Hockey League . Steinhauer could not achieve a scorer point, but received four penalty minutes.

In the 2009/10 season he is in the professional squad of the Kölner Haie and he also receives a license for the Schwenninger Wild Wings .

International

At the U-18 World Cup in 2008 , Dennis Steinhauer reached fifth place with the German junior national team . In the six games he played, the defender was able to achieve an assist .
