Deon McCaulay (born September 20, 1987 in Belize City ) is a Belizean football player .

Club career

McCaulay began his career in Belize in the city of San Ignacio near Kremandala. After further positions in the Belize Premier Football League, he moved to Costa Rica for a short time in 2008 to the Puntarenas FC . There he could not assert himself and returned to his home country. He spent the next two years at FC Belize and Belize Defense Force FC.

From 2009 to 2011 he played in Honduras with Deportes Savio . 2011 returned again and played for RG City Boys United and Belmopan Bandits.

In 2014 he moved to the Atlanta Silverbacks in the second North American division.

National team

McCaulay made his debut for the Belizean national football team in 2007 . He was the top scorer in qualifying for the 2014 World Cup . He scored 21 times for the national team, making him the record scorer.
