The Belgrano department is located in the west of the San Luis province in the western center of Argentina and is one of 9 administrative units in the province.
It borders the Ayacucho Department in the north, the Coronel Pringles Department in the east, the Juan Martín de Pueyrredón Department in the south and the Mendoza Province in the west .
The capital of the Belgrano department is Villa General Roca .
