Depot III in Hluboká nad Vltavou
The Custodian III Hluboka nad Vltavou (also hoard III Hluboka nad Vltavou ) is a hoard of Early Bronze Age Unetice culture of Hluboka nad Vltavou in Jihočeský kraj , Czech Republic . It dates to between 1800 and 1600 BC. The depot is now in the South Bohemian Museum in Budweis .
Find history
The depot was discovered around 1985 on the edge of an artificial fish pond. The exact circumstances of the find are unknown.
In 1935 and 1974, two other Aunjetitz culture depots ( Depot I and Depot II ) were discovered in Hluboká . Depot II was found just 30 m south of Depot III.
composition
The depot consists of three badly damaged bronze arm spirals and other fragments that were wrapped in a bundle.
