Depot II from Žatec

The Custodian II Žatec (also hoard II from Zatec ) is a hoard of Early Bronze Age Unetice culture of Zatec in Ústecký kraj , Czech Republic . It dates between 2000 and 1800 BC. Today the depot is located in the Regional Museum in Teplice .

Find history

The depot was discovered in 1907. The exact location and the circumstances of the find are unknown. Another Aunjetitz culture depot was found in Žatec in 1927 . There are also individual finds of other bronze objects from the area around the village .

composition

The depot consists of four bronze objects: two eyelet neck rings , a ridge hatchet and a bar arm ring with buffer ends.
