Find history
The depot was discovered in 2002, northwest of Ovčáry, during the construction of the Toyota plant. The site is on flat terrain that slopes slightly to the north.
Two other depot finds ( I and III ) and a single bar from the Aunjetitz culture come from Ovčáry . The sites of the three depots are each more than 1 km apart, but there are lines of sight. The similarity of the found objects also suggests a connection.
composition
The depot consists of ten bronze eyelet neck rings . They were found secondary relocated together with some ceramic fragments. Some rings are recently damaged or bent.
