Držov depot
The Držov depot (also known as the Držov hoard ) is a depot find of the Early Bronze Age Aunjetitz culture from Držov , a district of Vojníkov in Jihočeský kraj , Czech Republic . It dates to between 1800 and 1600 BC. The depot is now in the Písek City Museum .
Find history
The depot was discovered before 1975 northwest of Držov on the left bank of the Otava. According to the finder, it was under a flat stone 0.5 m long. A follow-up archaeological examination revealed no further findings or findings .
composition
The depot consists of four bronze bars . They are between 280 mm and 284 mm long and weigh between 124.9 g and 139.9 g.
