The Všemyslice Depot (also known as the Všemyslice hoard ) is a depot find of the Early Bronze Age Aunjetitz culture from Všemyslice in Jihočeský kraj , Czech Republic . It dates between 2000 and 1800 BC. Find history

In 1947, 1948 and 1949 bronze objects were repeatedly discovered during deep plowing on the parcel “V dílcích” or “Na sedlištích” near Všemyslice , which very likely belong to a single depot. In 1949 a large number of objects were found at once. The earth at the site was darkened. The site is on a flat ridge.

composition

The depot originally consisted of around 50 bronze objects. There are still 36 complete copies and ten fragments preserved. Tilmann Vachta classifies all of them as eyelet neck rings , Václav Moucha, on the other hand, only one specimen and one fragment as eyelet neck rings and the rest as ring bars . The total weight of the items is 5.83 kg. There are 16 copies in the National Museum in Prague, 20 on bus route, nine in Týn nad Vltavou and one in the Prehistoric Institute in Prague.
