The march to the leader is a German propaganda and educational film from 1940. The film shows the march of the Hitler Youth (HJ) for Nazi Party of the National Socialists to Nuremberg . In contrast to the earlier documentaries from Leni Riefenstahl's party congresses , he does not focus on the party congress itself or on Adolf Hitler , who is only shown briefly at the end of the film. Instead, he follows the path of the Hitler Youth from different parts of Germany on their journey across the country.
The film received the ratings “politically valuable”, “artistically valuable”, “popular education” and “youthful”. The director and scriptwriter could not be identified.
