criticism
“By taking a hostage, a mentally ill person tries to get the most beautiful girl in the village handed over to him. After a dramatic outcome, the mayor's daughter succeeds in persuading the blackmailer, for whom she has developed sympathy, to release the hostages. When he tries to surrender to her persuasion, he is shot. A thriller that is just as tough as it is technically awkward. Directed by the son of the famous writer Georges Simenon ("Inspector Maigret"). "
