Marc Simenon

Marc Simenon (born April 19, 1939 in Brussels , † October 24, 1999 in Paris ) was a French (originally Belgian) screenwriter and director .

Simenon, son of the writer Georges Simenon , worked for cinema and television alike. Before that, he had worked as an assistant director for several years.

He was married to actress Mylène Demongeot since September 16, 1968 . Simenon died on October 24, 1999 when he fell down a staircase in Paris.
