The Swan Prince - Live Your Dream is a musical about the fairy tale king Ludwig II , which was shown for the first time in summer 2016 in ten performances (and three additional performances) on the Forggensee in Füssen . The Swan Prince is the first musical on a ship with scenes on land.

Script / lyrics / production / direction are by the artist couple Janet Chvatal & Marc Gremm . The music is from Nic Raine. The German translation was done by Esmeralda Endruweit. Volker Bleck took over the co-direction / staging. The assistant director was Christopher Green and the choreographers Volker Bleck and Nia Hawyes. Sound and lighting technology were controlled by Mario Ruschel. IPMedia, Dirk Pfeifer, was the technical coordinator for the scenes on land.

The musical was shown for the first time in the summer of 2016 on the Füssen on the Forggensee in Füssen. The action took place on a "musical deck" as well as individual scenes on land.

After sold out performances in the premiere year, production was revised in 2017 with a spectacle at the Roßhaupten hydroelectric power station .

The resumption of the musical in July 2018 on the Forggensee could not take place on the lake due to renovation work on the dam in Roßhaupten, instead the piece was performed in concert form in the Kaisersaal of the city of Füssen.

The musical tells the story of a young prince, the later fairy tale king Ludwig II. He has the courage to believe in his dreams. So he must z. B. save his dreams from the witch Kundry and the wizard Klingsor.
