Janet Chvatal & Marc Gremm

Marc Steffen Gremm (born July 21, 1971 in Kirchheim unter Teck ) is a German baritone and producer . He became known for the role of Count Dürckheim and King Ludwig II in the musical Ludwig² . In 2010 Gremm founded Suite 31 Productions together with Janet Chvatal .

Life

Marc Gremm grew up in Hochdorf near Kirchheim unter Teck. At first he studied mathematics to become a teacher, but after a while retrained to become a musical singer. His first musical engagements were in Stuttgart with the Sound of Music, The Secret Garden and in Du Bist inordnung Charlie Brown. In 2003 he was engaged for Roman Polański's Dance of the Vampires . In 2007 he played the lead role of Inspector Javert in the musical Les Misérables . He made his first operatic debut in 2008 in the role of the torero in Bizet's Carmen . Since 2010 he has been producing concerts with symphony orchestras and appears together with Janet Chvatal as "Empress Sissi and King Ludwig II of Bavaria".

Productions and concert series

Since 2008 , Chvatal and Gremm have been producing the Königsgala in Bavaria every summer under the name Janet & Marc . a. Uwe Kröger and Pia Douwes performed. Gremm and Chvatal released several CDs with guest singers such as the Tölzer Knabenchor , Kevin Tarte , Bruno Grassini and Jan Ammann . The CDs have won several awards from Musicals , Das Musicalmagazin.

Since 2009, together with the Cannstatter Zeitung, Gremm and Chvatal have organized the annual Advent Magic Concert with opera and musical star guests and orchestras in the Schwabenlandhalle Fellbach.

From 2009 to 2011 Janet & Marc were entrusted with the artistic direction of the concert series Royal Evening Music in Neuschwanstein Castle on the occasion of the birthday of King Ludwig II. The net proceeds went to the Königswinkel Children's Cancer Aid. At the end of 2011 they produced a tour through southern Germany with Kathy Kelly .

In 2012 Janet & Marc produced a musical in Austria, Die Legende des… liebes Rot-Flüh in Grän near Tannheim . The musical celebrated its premiere in February 2012. In December 2012, Das Musical received the Top of the Mountains Touristic Award for “Best Event” 2012.

In 2013, Janet & Marc produced a New Year's Eve gala with symphony orchestra in the Füssen Festival Hall for the first time with the composer and conductor Nic Raine.

In 2015 Janet & Marc remembered the great Udo Jürgens at the summer festival of the Cannstatter / Untertürkheimer Zeitung .

In 2016, Janet & Marc conceived and produced the first musical on a ship with scenes on land. The Swan Prince - Live your dream , a "musical adventure trip", celebrated its premiere on July 30th, 2016 on the Forggensee in Bavaria . After sold out performances in the premiere year, the successful production by Chvatal and Gremm was reworked in 2017 with a spectacle at the Roßhaupten hydroelectric power station .
