action

Val runs the household of the married couple Carlos and Bárbara in São Paulo , who live with their son Fabinho in a luxurious house with a swimming pool. Fabinho smokes more cannabis than is good for him. Val left her daughter Jéssica with her father more than ten years ago. Now she wants to come to São Paulo and study architecture . Val wants to accommodate Jéssica in her own room. Carlos and Fabinho are taken with her and Carlos offers Jéssica the guest room. He shows her his paintings, shows her around town and shows her building with interesting architecture. This leads to conflicts with Val and her boss Bárbara. Jéssica is the maid's daughter and guest at the same time. After a "water fight" between Fabinho, a friend and Jéssica, Bárbara observed a "rat" in the pool and had its water level lowered. She also demands that Jéssica move out immediately, who then rents an apartment with her mother.

Fabinho fails the entrance exam for his studies, whereas Jéssica passes her exam with flying colors. However, her mother finds out that Jéssica is herself a mother and has left her young son Jose behind. In the dark, Val climbs into the pool and splashes in shallow water. The next day she quits her job. She wants to open a massage parlor and take care of her grandchild.
