The free day is a TV show moderated by Sven Kroll on WDR , which has been broadcast since May 25, 2015.

Concept of broadcast

history

The show is a spin-off . On June 20, 2012, the first single episode was broadcast in the WDR program Lokalzeit from Dortmund . Since then, the regular section has continued to appear in the regional broadcast. There, the candidates were shown at the beginning and the resolution at the end of the program as a cliffhanger . Originally, moderator Sven Kroll shot the event with another camera as a stylistic device. This was changed in 2016 for national broadcasts. Due to the good rate development, the program was extended from 30 minutes to 45 minutes in 2017.
