The Desportivo Recreativo da Cuca BGI , often just Desportivo Cuca or Cuca BGI , is a football club from the Angolan city of Malanje . It is the Werkself of the Cuca BGI brewery , Angola's most famous beer brand.
The club plays its home games at Estádio 1º de Maio , which has a capacity of 3,500.
He mostly played in the second division, the Gira Angola . In 1988 he was promoted to the first division, the Girabola . After the 1991 season he was relegated back to the second division. On February 13, 1993, the club announced the abandonment of its professional football team. After a brief stint in the second division in 2005, the club no longer takes part in professional Angolan football.
