Detlef Hauser

Detlef Häußer (* 1968 ) is a Protestant theologian and professor of the New Testament at the Tabor Protestant University in Marburg .

Life

From 1987 to 1991 Detlef Häußer studied at the "Theological Seminary" (today: Protestant University) Tabor. 1991-1993 he worked as a youth deacon in the Ev. Parish Großalmerode . 1993–1997 he studied theology and classical philology (Greek) in Marburg and Tübingen . In 1997 he received his diploma in Ev. Theology at the Philipps University of Marburg . Since 1997 he has been a lecturer in New Testament and Greek at the Ev. Tabor University. In 2005 his doctorate was Dr. phil. at the University of Dortmund with the topic “Christ's Confession and Jesus Tradition in Paul”, for which he received the 2005 dissertation prize at the University of Dortmund (Faculty of Human Sciences and Theology). In 2010 he became a professor at the Ev. Tabor University appointed. Detlef Häußer is married and has a daughter and a son.
