Detlef Lindner (born July 22, 1963 in Bergen on Rügen ) is a German politician.

Lindner completed vocational training in wholesaling and training as a customs officer and then worked at the main customs office in Stralsund.

In 1995 Lindner became a member of the Junge Union and later the CDU. There he was a member of the district executive committee, treasurer and deputy district chairman. Since 1999 he has been a member of the citizenship in Stralsund , where he is a member of the parliamentary committee and chairman of the parliamentary group as well as a member of various committees of the citizenship. In the state elections in 2011 , Lindner was directly elected to the state parliament in the Stralsund II constituency.

In May 2016, he announced that he would leave the CDU and run as a single candidate in the 2016 state elections . For this reason, he resigned from the CDU parliamentary group on June 5, 2016.

Detlef Lindner is a member of the supervisory board of SWS Stadtwerke Stralsund .

Lindner is married and has one child.
