Detlef Nolte

Detlef Nolte (* 1952 in Ludwigshafen ) is a German political scientist .

Life

He studied political science , history and German at the University of Mannheim ( state examination / Dr. phil. ). After his habilitation at the University of Hamburg , he taught there in 2000 as a professor of political science. From 1978 to 1989 he was a research assistant and university assistant at the Faculty of Social Sciences in Mannheim . Since 1989 he has been a research assistant at the Institute for Ibero America Customers in Hamburg . From 1989 to 2006 he was Deputy Director of the Institute for Ibero America Customers. From 2018 to 2019 he was visiting professor at the Universidade de São Paulo , Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile , Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales and Universidad del Salvador .
