Detlef Wendler
Detlef Wendler (born December 28, 1949 in Düsseldorf ) is a Protestant pastor , supervisor and author of spiritual books.
Life
After many years of employment as a Protestant parish priest in a miners' community in Essen, Detlef Wendler completed a clinical pastoral training course . From 1984 to 2010 he worked as a clergyman in the psychiatric facilities Klinik Königshof and Alexianer Krankenhaus Krefeld. Since 2000 he has also been working as a supervisor ( DGSv ), mainly in the area of social and church institutions. In 2005 he was certified as a systemic supervisor at the systemic society . Lectures, coaching, workshops and meditation offers complete his professional commitment.
Detlef Wendler began his work as an author of spiritual books in 2007 with the book “What you are looking for, that you already have”. The books are not only aimed at circles close to the church, but also at readers who are more remote from the church, albeit those who are looking for spirituality . Wendler brings his many years of experience in the clinical field to his work, even when it comes to everyday topics such as conscious walking or healthy sleeping.
Detlef Wendler lives in Krefeld. He is married and has two grown children.
