From 1959 the office on the German side was taken over by Gotthard von Falkenhausen , who was replaced by Dietrich von Grunelius in 1966 . After Herbert Waldthausen had been in office for two years, Friedrich Conzen took over the presidency on the German side for 10 years from 1977 .
