German War Exhibition is the generic term for various exhibitions that were shown in several German cities , particularly during the German Empire from the First World War . As an instrument of propaganda and to get the population in the mood for the Second World War - which was not only wanted by Adolf Hitler - war exhibitions glorifying the First World War were also presented during the time of National Socialism .
