Current projects

Awareness campaign : The Attacke! Campaign started in 2019 . Together against headaches , to help headache diseases to attract more attention nationwide. Headaches are one of the most common reasons for sick leave. However, many people with headaches still do not see a doctor, which means that no treatment is available, there is a risk of drug overuse and the headache can become chronic. The campaign website provides a wide range of information, offers advanced training events for general practitioners and specialists, and publishes relevant videos.

Headache Register : In 2020, after a two-year preparatory phase, the DMKG headache register was launched nationwide. The aim is to improve clinical care for headache patients. At the center of the register is an internet portal that connects doctors and patients.

Conflicts of Interest

The most important sponsors also include pharmaceutical companies, currently (as of 2020) for example Allergan Pharma , Bayer Pharma , Hormosan Pharma , Lilly , Novartis , Reckitt Benckiser , Sanofi and Teva . An influence of these companies directly on the company or indirectly on their members, who often also have a conflict of interest, cannot be ruled out.
