The Deutsche Rundschau was a German-language foreign newspaper from Canada , which was founded in 1997 for German speakers and people of German origin worldwide.

According to its own information, the monthly newspaper has around 80,000 readers in over 140 countries. The circulation is around 20,000 copies and three-quarters of the circulation is distributed in the USA and Canada. The circulation is around 11,500 copies. The 12 editors around the world and around 170 freelancers work on a voluntary basis. The editor is the German-Jewish publisher Juri Klugmann.

A distinguishing feature from other German-language print media in North America is that the Deutsche Rundschau does not contain any news from the dpa , but only exclusive, self-written articles specifically tailored to Germans abroad .

With the July / August 2014 issue, the publication was discontinued for financial reasons.
